This award aims to recognize and support a dedicated physician assistant student who demonstrates a strong commitment to healthcare in the Central Texas community.
Eligibility Criteria:
Must be a current member of CTPAS.
The applicant must be enrolled in a physician assistant program based in Texas and submit proof of enrollment if chosen as the winner.
The applicant must demonstrate a commitment to healthcare in the Central Texas and excel in academic performance and leadership in their community or school.
Texas Star PA Award
This award identifies and honors a physician assistant who not only excels in clinical duties but also genuinely enriches the health and well-being of our community.
Eligibility Criteria:
Must be a current member of CTPAS.
Must hold current TMB and NCCPA license and certification and submit proof is chosen as the winner.
Provide compassionate, high-quality, evidence-based patient care to patients in Central Texas.
Armadillo Legacy PA Award
This award honors a retired PA who has left a lasting footprint on the Central Texas healthcare landscape through a lifetime of service, mentorship, and dedication.
Eligibility Criteria:
Must be a current member of CTPAS.
Must be retired from a full-time clinical practice role.
Must have demonstrated a significant contribution to the PA profession, through clinical work, advocacy, education, or community engagement in Central Texas.
